Hi, I'm Anny. It's great to meet you!😊 Let me share a little bit about my background.

I majored in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL) and started my career teaching at a Shanghai-based institute for 3 years while simultaneously teaching online, before going fully remote. With 8 years of teaching and 8,000+ hours of one-on-one coaching under my belt, I still get that same thrill when a student speaks with clarity and confidence.

Beyond the classroom, I have spent the past two years sharing Chinese learning content that has reached over 100 million views and 600k likes on social media. This means the methods and materials I bring to our lessons are not just academic — they are proven to work for real learners across all platforms.

1. Pronunciation – Build Muscle Memory

There's a Chinese saying: "Wàn biàn bù lí qí zōng" — meaning no matter how much things change, the core remains the same. Chinese grammar works the same way. I'll guide you through the most essential structures from the very start, and build on that foundation — so you develop the habit of expressing yourself naturally in Chinese, without translating.

3. Vocabulary – Your Personal Phrase Bank
We use a solid textbook as our foundation, but we don't stop there. I bring in real-world materials you actually enjoy — films, social media, news — so you learn expressions that are useful and memorable. I curate content that fits you, so every word has a place in your active vocabulary.
